Product Description

A towable stump grinder has to be dragged to every stump. A skid steer stump grinder drives there. The Quick Attach Quick Stump Away mounts to the machine you already run, which means it gets into tight spots between trees and near structures without tearing up the property on the way in.

The cutting wheel is a 1/2-inch thick, 24-inch steel plate carrying 32 replaceable carbide teeth, and it cuts bi-directionally. That matters more than it sounds: you sweep across the stump in both directions without repositioning the skid steer, which roughly halves the number of times you reset on a big stump.

There is no gearbox. The motor drives the wheel directly, so there is one less assembly to service and one less thing to fail under load. The wheel takes stumps up to 32 inches in diameter down to 8 inches below ground across a 55 degree cutting arc.

Two flow configurations are available. Standard flow runs 15 to 30 GPM with a wheel speed of 500 to 1,000 RPM, and high flow runs 31 to 42 GPM at 900 to 1,200 RPM. Both require a case drain. An optional 3-sided Green Teeth package lets you rotate teeth to a fresh edge instead of replacing them.

Ideal For: Arborists, tree services, landscapers, and municipal maintenance departments who already run a skid steer and want stump grinding capability without a second machine to tow, fuel, and maintain.
