Powered by a Honda GX270 commercial engine with an exclusive auto-throttle that idles down while you load the next log — saving fuel, reducing noise, and extending engine life automatically. The American-made pump and Brand valve paired with NorthStar hydraulic cylinders featuring premium Halite seals are built to a standard most competitors simply do not match.
The patented alloy steel wedge with its unique curved design reduces initial contact area for maximum penetrating force on every stroke. The patented log stripper automatically clears logs from the retracting wedge so you never stop to manually clear jams. The engine guard protects against falling logs and debris, and the heavy-duty log tables keep logs from rolling off the beam during splitting.
Switch between horizontal and vertical by simply pulling a pin — no tools, no complicated adjustments. Bolt-on cradles center logs on the wedge and prevent rolling.
