Product Description

Stumps, big rocks, and stubborn roots aren't coming out with a standard bucket — you need an attachment built for prying and digging. The GREYWOLF Stump Bucket turns your skid steer into a dedicated extraction tool with serrated edges that cut roots and a tapered profile that reaches under the worst of them.

A stump bucket lives at the cutting edge — that's where lighter-gauge steel distorts, where the pry profile flattens, where welds crack under hardwood roots. The GREYWOLF's 5/16-inch thick steel construction is built to outlast multiple replacements of lighter buckets — prying, scraping, and root-cutting through whatever's in the way. Pay once, pry for years.

The 49-inch wide bucket reaches far under stumps from the side, and the serrated edges cut through roots as you work. Universal quick attach plate fits most full-size skid steer brands. No chains, no shovels, no manual root sawing.

This is the bucket that does what your standard bucket can't.

Ideal For: Property owners, contractors, landscapers, and rural land managers who need a USA-made premium stump bucket attachment for skid steer loaders.

Q&A

Q: Will this GREYWOLF Stump Bucket fit my skid steer?
A: Yes — the universal quick attach plate fits most major full-size skid steer brands. Confirm your machine has a universal quick attach plate (most do) before ordering.

Q: What's the difference between a stump bucket and a standard skid steer bucket?
A: A standard bucket is built for scooping loose material; a stump bucket has a tapered pry profile and serrated edges built for prying stumps loose and cutting through roots. Different shape, different job.

Q: Can I use this for digging trenches or swales?
A: Yes — it handles small ditch and swale digging, but its primary design is stump and rock prying. For dedicated trench work, a dedicated trenching attachment is more efficient.

Q: How do the serrated edges work for cutting roots?
A: The side edges are tooth-cut so they slice through roots as you push the bucket under and around stumps. The act of prying combined with the serrated edges removes roots that would otherwise hold the stump in place.

Q: Will the powder coat hold up to constant prying?
A: The Gray powder coat protects against weather and surface abrasion. Heavy prying and scraping will show wear over time on the cutting edges — that's normal for any stump bucket. The 5/16-inch steel underneath is what does the structural work.

Q: Can this remove old concrete or asphalt?
A: Yes — the tapered profile slips under old concrete pads, sidewalk sections, and asphalt to pry them up. Useful for renovation and demolition cleanup work.
