Product Description

Clearing a wooded lot with a chainsaw means dropping every tree by hand, one at a time, on the ground with the brush. The Quick Attach EZ Axe mounts to your skid steer and shears trees up to 12 inches in diameter, so you cut standing timber from the seat and set it down where you want it.

The shear cuts close to the ground, which means less stump left behind and less follow-up work with a grinder or a bucket. A 5-inch by 12-inch shear cylinder drives a 1-inch AR400 abrasion-resistant blade, the same class of steel used in wear plate, so the cutting edge holds up through mesquite, cedar, dogwood, alder, juniper, and osage orange.

The head rotates 90 degrees manually, letting you lay cut trees in the direction you want them rather than wherever they fall. At 760 pounds it stays within reach of most skid steers without overloading the front end.

Ideal For: Landowners, ranchers, and land clearing contractors who need to selectively harvest or clear brush and small trees without running a crew of chainsaws.
